I am reviewing the Tv show Stargate: Atlantis, this show Follows the adventures of Lieutenant-Colonel John sheppard, Dr. Rodney McKay, Ronon Dex, and Teyla, They are a team of explorers in the Pegasus Galaxy.
they got to the pegasus galaxy by a "star-gate" that can transport them to various planets, with a ZPM they can go to other galaxies. when they got to Atlantis they found out the City was deep underwater, and with the help of John Sheppard they raised the city.
On the first mission they went to a strange planet and found a species of creatures called Wraith, who feed on the life of Humans through their hands, which have Sucker-things on them.
they "call" humans with Wraith Darts which beam the humans up into a device that keeps them in a storage device, they then are beamed back down. The wraith weapons are like Rifles, and pistols except they stun.
Each Wraith hive has a Queen, the queens can read minds and even take control.
the leader of the Atlantis expedition has changed over the years but the first Leader is Dr. Elizibeth Weir. Ronon Dex is the last Of his people from the Planet Sateda, he prefers to use his Gun (which can stun or kill) or his sword.
Teyla is the Leader of the Athosians, who are a tribal people, and haven't invented guns or cars yet. Teyla has become part of the Atlantis expedition.
The atlantis expedition has 2 Ships. one called the Daedlius and the Apollo.
see you in Atlantis!

This show is run by an american company, the scripts are from the US and have to go through the US Dept. of Defense for approval.
Staargate Atlantis is US military propoganda targeted for children.
There are lots of guns and explosives, the US soldiers are the "heroes" and the only Canadian character is portrayed as an inept fool.
It's not Canadian content regardless of the label, and it shouldn't be fed to kids in daylight timeslots, unless training your children to love US colonialism and play with guns is important.
