WATERSHIP DOWN by Richard Adams. OK, I have not yet finished this book. I am on the chapter called: "The Honeycomb and the Mouse." But, so far, it is AMAZING! It gets you wondering what happens next, it "shows, not tells" (describing it, not just saying..."Hazel sat down" for example.) and, who doesn't like cute little wild bunny wabbits to fight? lol...anyways, if you just want to try it, get it at your local library. But if you think you'll LOVE it...BUY THE BOOK!
HERE ARE THE CHARACTERS...SO FAR!!
Hazel
Fiver (Fifth in his litter, and the youngest.)
Blackberry
Bigwig (Has a strange growth on his head...)
Silver
Speedwell
Dandelion (He tells stories!!!)
Pipkin (Baby...REALLY! He's a baby rabbit! Geez...)
Acorn
Buckthorn
Cowslip
Strawberry
Nildro-Hain (SONG OF THE BLACKBIRD!)
Bluebell
Captain Holly (BOY BOY BOY!!!!)
Anyways...AGAIN!...this is a very good book.

Hey, I love Watership Down. It's most interesting if you look at it as a commentary on communism and WWII. People who hate it usually just don't understand it.
