This PS2 game is a game you have most likely never heard of. If you haven't heard of it, read this review to learn about it. If you have heard of it or own it, I'd like to say "I feel your pain". Here are three reasons why this game is a pathetic waste of time. I don't mean to be so harsh but this game pushes it to the edge. Let me begin: The cover looks pretty cool, I mean it says "Drift 2" with the slightly tuned Toyota Supra sliding, but still doesn't compare to other videogame covers. It's not too attractive but hey, I bought it! The back is really nice, explaining how there are 150 cars, all customizable in the interior and exterior. It felt like a no-brainer game that I couldn't lose out on by buying it. Boy was I wrong. I don't want to write a novel here, so I'll quickly list the problems: the graphics are terrible compared to the other games at the time, the gameplay is horrible, the customization is horrid and lame. The car list-although big, is awful ; it only has Japanese cars!!!!!!! No American cars and its only European car is an Opel Sky!!! I am extremely displeased with this car racism! Only Japanese cars can drift? Only they can slide? Only Imports can run these races? Fine, don't put in any American cars but for the love of good put in some European cars!
I'm not done-but I will be soon: This game has horrible music, sound, graphics, gameplay, game modes and action. I PAID $20 FOR THE GAME! I'm selling it or donating to it to any EB Games. Don't buy this game unless you like wasting money-and I don't think anybody does.

this game is so fun i wish we can have more games llike this one. because it give you alot of excitement when you playing.

nice one, it doesn<t have americans because GM wouldn't sell them the license, oh and btw, it has fiat, vw, and nissan, which are both euro, nissan as made by peugeot and later sold, oh yeah, and it alo has pegeot, citroen.

Okay, Remy, there are some European cars companies, but there are hardly any european cars, or good ones! The game is still not worth playing, and if you like it, try need for speed.

the Tokyo Xtreme Racer: Drift 1 and Tokyo Xtreme Racer: Drift 2 are the best racer game I never have. You must be pro to driving ....ha hahaha ...get a right car to bit the race track more easy.I have fun.....Wish they have Tokyo Xtreme Racer Drift 3.

if any of you knew anything about touge racing and the such you would see how its a great representaion of the underground street racing culture in japan.
