This is the best play ever! I've seen Phantom before, but this is nothing like it. The Phantom of the Opera is so unforgettable, because they have amazing special effects for a play like sparks flying and smoke. It's not so much of an action play but there are some really awesome parts. The best part about it was definitely the chandelier. In usual Phantom plays, they hang the chandelier over the stage but it's all different in this Phantom. They hang the chandelier over the audience so when it falls, you think it's going to drop on your head. The theatre is a replica of the real Phantom theatre, so it makes it ten times more real. It has a little bit of a different plot, there are new twists to it, that if you've seen the original, you won't recognize. I've never seen the movie, but I highly suggest you either watch the movie or see the play before coming to see this one. It was so great, I would go back to Vegas just to see Phantom again. The hotel we stayed at, The Venetia, has the Phantom. If you stay there, it's only a short walk to the show. I could easily forget a showing of the original, but not this one, it was an unforgettable experience.
