My review is about a TV show that is on PBS Kids, and it's called Word World. Personally, I think Word World is a great show for kids ages 4 to 8. It's a great help for kids that want to learn to read but can't seem to catch on very fast. It's all about a bunch of animals that live in a place called Word World, and everything is a word. If they wanted to make a sandwich, all they have to do is spell the word sandwich. It can be pretty funny sometimes. The characters have really good voices. I give it a rating of 4 because it's not perfect, but it's really good.

I agree with Christopher. This is a really super show and my 4 year old just loves it!! She started watching it when she was just 3.
In fact she loves it sooo much that she is now spelling the words all by herself. She is so proud that she can spell "just like" her 2 big sisters!!! ;-).
This show has helped her enormously! And me!!! hihihii

i also think it's a great show. even if it's not perfect and they only learn a little bit it's got to be better then some of the other shows they have for children like 4 square on treehouse TV for example.

As a reading specialist who works with primary students, I was thrilled to see this delightful program, however, parents beware. All words are always shown in capital letters and students mostly read lower case letters. It would be great if the producers would adjust these. Children must learn the correct ways to read and write from the beginning, for instance, don’t have your child write their name in all capital letters. Teach them the right way using upper and lower- your kindergarten teacher will thank you. Also, practice sounding out the words on the show instead of always spelling them as the characters do. This is more developmental.

You're right:in one episode, Frog has to babysit Pig's nephews. But frog did not know they've built a rocket! So the three little piggies go to the moon! Luckily, Frog originally planned to build a rocket of his own and went after them. The story continues - and ends - in outer space.
