Pendragon Book Two: The Lost City Of Faar is the second installment of a fantasy series by the critically acclaimed author and screenwriter D.J. Machale. It is about a boy named Bobby Pendragon, who is forced to jump from dimension to dimension fighting a demon who calls himself Saint Dane in order to prevent the universe from being destroyed.
The Lost City Of Faar takes place in a dimension completely covered in water known as Cloral. For centuries its inhabitants have lived in peace on floating cities, but now with Saint Dane spreading a poison that is decimating Cloral's food supplies this wonderful way of life is threatened. The only hope in saving the dimension rests with a lost city similar to Atlantis, that is known as Faar... and Saint Dane wants to destroy that too!
The second book in the Pendragon series is a gripping read with vivid settings and fascinating characters. The reader never really knows what to expect, with the result that is an edge of your seat thriller that is impossible to put down.
I absolutely love this series, and book two is no exception.

Hey this is my third comment i've made on cbc reviews!
This is one of the best action series ever. I've enjoyed every single book in the soon-to-be ten book series. I think the most recent addition is Raven Rise, which unfortunately I haven't got to read yet because the library only has one copy and I'm one hundredth in the waiting line. Anyway, its worth the wait.
These books are purely books to enjoy. They take you on a wild, crazy rollercoaster adventure through everything one would expect from a typical fantasy book: monsters, chases, battles, traitors etc.
As for the reading level, I would recommend it to Young Adults. A well-written intense action book that I highly recommend.
