This book is about a mouse called Martin The Warrior who searches for his father, Luke. Martin hears about some other animals who knew his father when he is still at Redwall Abby in Mossflower Woods. He sets off to find out about his father. When he reaches the Northland Shore he finally hears the story of his father. When he comes back he finds that the Abby is finished being built.

What I liked about this book is the interesting descriptions of the animals and how they fight against the evil creatures to protect the lands surrounding their dwelling place. I would recommend this book to those who like animals and adventure.
