My review is on the new movie Nancy Drew starring Emma Roberts. Nancy is moving to California and leaving Ned and Bess her two best friends behind. She is moving into the famous movie star, Dehlia Draycott's house. Dehlia disappeared for 5 months and when she came back she threw a big party, but she never came downstairs. People found her floating in the pool. Nancy tells her dad she's not sleuthing, but she is. Nancy Drew follows trails and finds Dehlia Draycott’s daughter. Follow this chilling mystery to the very end as Nancy Drew unravels it one step at a time. (would rate it 100% but...)

Just a question to anyone reading this... I'm afraid to see this movie because I'm so familiar with the old 1970's Nancy Drew and her friends George and Bess. Do they still play a part in this movie, or is Nancy just a popular little teen prep?...

Hey Allison,
George and Bess are in the first part and Ned comes to California to see Nancy for a weekend and helps her solve the mystery. The movie is like the books. No, she is not a popular little teen prep! Nancy becomes popluar after being individual, and solving the mystery. You can see the movie because it is the same old 1970's Nancy!

This movie was AWESOME! But, to me, I wondered why it hadn't been solved before. I mean, it WAS an easy mystery to solve and it was a tad bit predictable, but HEY! it was EXTREMELY enjoyable. I hope there's going to be a sequel!

Guys , you oviously have no idea who nancy drew is. She is not a preppy 12 year old , she is a 18 year old who is smart and can act. It loses the 1970's appeal and it is absolutly stupid , if you are knowlegable about nancy drew , don't watch it , it ruins the nancy drew appeal
