One of my favourite books of all time is "The Butterfly Lion" by Michael Morpurgo. It is about a boy named Bertie. He adopts a white lion cub, which he sees in the African wild with its mother. Then he has to go to school in England and has to give the white lion away. The book tells the story of how he searches for the lion for the rest of his life!

I really loved this book!!! When I started to read it I couldn't stop! It shows a beautiful friendship between i little boy and I lion .
I recommend this book for children and adults.

a very good book for children!!and for adults
we learn about Africa, about a friendship between two loving-children.
the lion cub is so cute!
we vanish in the story.

This book was amazing. I loved all the pictures. I love animals and it was the perfect book for me. It was very touching. It was funny at times but sad at other times.
