I have one question. What makes those plastic foam "flip flops" any better? I think those are just as bad if not worse than croc shoes. Seeing people's dirty toes and feet in those things are a huge turn off. Atleast with crocs people's ungroomed feet are hidden. In addition, the sound of flip flops are rather annoying. In conclusion flip flops are beach shoes; therefore, they should only been seen on beaches!

i totally agree. They might be comfortable, but they are SOOOOO UGLY! And some of them or way over priced.

I really agree "those shoes are tacky" and also dangerous. I too would rate crocs a 0. I also think flip flops would be a better chioce.

I'm having foot surgery in spring (severe bunion) and I bought these as my revovery shoes for when I get the cast off.. As ugly as they are they are perfect fot this and I will probably wear them all summer (I bought the plain black model though!) :P

I love Crocs and they have some pretty stylish ones out now. I wear nothing but crocs. they are comfy and have helped my back problems and will continue to help me as I have just been diagnosed with arthritis.
People LOVE UGG boots which are big bulky furry UGLY shoes. I think UGG stands for ugly! Flip Flops are so bad for your feet no arch support or anything. Crocs makes a flip flop and at least you have arch support on them.

Crocs - don't be fooling yourself that they are soo comfortable. They offer no support and for kids they encourage kids to curl their toes in order to keep them on. I would not buy them just for those reasons , poor for foot and muscle development.

I love Crocs. The different styles that they have brought out are amazing. Their colour schemes could be a little different. Most shoes out there don't provide support for your feet, unless they are those berkenstocks and they are definitely ugly. I have many different styles of crocs and have never had an issue with aching feet.

CROCS ARE GREAT - They are very comfortable and my mom owns a pair! Looks great on her. (Don't call her old!) You wont really notice them if you wear white ones with white socks under either, so, STOP HATING! LOOKS DON'T MATTER!!!!

...however, I agree with the fact that they're comfortable. They're also easy to slip into. I usually use them if I'm going outside only for a moment (e.g. to pick up...dog doo) and am feeling too lazy to actually...put...on...my...shooes...*gasp*

I've learned to embrace the ugliness of my crocs.

Although they're more aesthetically acceptable, the constant flip flopping of flip flops is far more annoying to me, than the ugliness of my favourite summer footwear. Not to mention that flip flops trigger my paranoia and I constantly think someone is following me.

From walking the dog on dewy summer mornings to canoing nothing beats crocs. When I get to the park in the morning with my dog, these toe covered ugly clogs keep both the morning and dog dew off of my toes. I even tried them on a canoe trip last summer and found they were in fact perfectly designed for portaging a canoe. They drained quickly and kept the inside of the boat dry, while offering great support while carrying a canoe and gear over all kinds of terrain.

As for the argument that they're not comfortable, don't take my word for it, take a peek into the kitchen of your favourite restaurant, or pop into a local hospital. Those who spend hours on their feet would tend to say they're very kind to your feet.

Different people have different opinions, so why are we fighting over shoes? We all know we can't change eachtohers opinions. Although it is kind of fun to argue over silly things, we shouldn't. Crocs are good for some peoples feet and provide good support, while to others, they don't. Let's just leave it at that.

If we all subscribed to the crocs theory, soon we will all be wearing robes and moo moos instead of jeans and t-shirts because we dont give a lick what we look like as long as we are comfortable..

I love my crocs...don't think they will ever go out of style. There are so many styles to choose from. So what if people don't like the looks of them. I don't like the look of those hideously pointy spikey high heeled boots. I dont think they can be that good for your feet, and they make peoples feet look 4 inches longer than they really are. Now that is what I call a ridiculous unhealthy fad that should stop now! But I don't care who wears them, so I don't think anyone should care if I wear my crocs. Just ordered 4 more pairs...LOL!!!

everybody at school has crocs! i don`t like them. they smell weird, and are hard to wear.
i got some once, i left them at my friends house over the summer. so now they are hers. she looks better in them than i do anyway.

okay, just a though , they really aren't that comfortable. And plus they are okay inside youre house , or on the beach, but pleas , wear flip flops, they both cause damage to your feet if you wear them to much , but flip flops are so much nicer

I think crocs are the worst shoes ever made. My friend had a brand new pink pair and dropped one in the lake near my house and it floated away. Why do eople even wear those shoes? Stick to sneakers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats what I do.
