Villain.net:

My review is on the book Villian.net by Andy Briggs. The story’s about a plain 14 year- old boy named Jake Hunter who becomes a super villain by downloading powers from a site called Villain.net.

Before Jake had become a super villain, he was a bully at his school. However, one day, he got a strange email that made him go to Villain.net, and he accidentally downloaded the radioactive power. Next day, he burnt down the whole metal shop at his school, and became a school hero by saving a teacher. Soon Jake got to know Basilisk, who had introduced the super villain world and Villain.net to him.

I enjoyed reading this story very much. It’s very villainy how one villain tries to use other villain and plans to destroy the Villain Council, because they didn’t agree with him. It’s also cool how a villain can live longer by getting DNA from other people’s body. I think we should really invent the Skycar from this passage very soon. It would be so awesome to see one of those flying cars from movies and fiction to actually fly around.

Andy Briggs is such a good writer that he even tricked me that a villain’s going to blow up the Earth with him on it. I thought that villain would just simply get stopped by Jake Hunter but it didn’t go on like I expected.

There are lots of twists in this book and that’s what makes you want to read further and further through this book. I also like the setting how he started the book at the middle of the story. You can’t understand what’s happening at first and therefore you want to read further and understand what’s going on. I think this book is one of the best books that I have read.
