Hi Mark here again offering you another review for a game that to this very day is always looked at as a landmark game called Super Mario World for the Super Nintendo released in 1991. Being a launch title for the system, it was a very large leap in gaming because back then the Sega Genesis was the king of the videogame mountain and the system was then pumping out 16 bit games like Sonic and Shinobi. Although great games, the Super Nintendo pumped out even more colors and better 2d sprites. As for the plot, it's mario what do you expect? Princess peach is taken away and kept captive by King Bowser whose evil intents are to finally destroy our chubby plumber with the help of his children.
What's really fun about this game is with past mario games replay value wasn't all that great because once you beat a game then that's it, just go through and play the same experience again, but with this game the director and creator of Mario, Shagiru Miyamoto, decided since this game will landmark game why not make it one that will last? so he decided to have it so when you beat the game it unlocks all kinds of fun features as well as secret passages and secret bosses which adds a lot of replay value to an already superb game title. The graphics are also a huge leap from what we were used to seeing . The levels are designed well with jumps and secret areas that will even surprise the most avid of gamers.
There isn't a bad thing about this game that i can think at this moment. It's amazing for a game of that age to hit perfection but it did and i love it. So buy this game and enjoy it.

i have the game for super nintendo and it ROCKS!!! it is very hard to beat.

Super Mario world brings back allot of memories. I used to go to my grandma's house and play super Mario almost all day. On Christmas i would open my presents and after go play Super Mario World.
