Shark fin soup is a disgusting soup made from the cartilage in shark fins. There is three reasons why I hate shark fin soup. Reason 1 it has no taste of it's own so it is usually mixed with pork, chicken broth or mushrooms. So when mixed with chicken broth for example it tastes like chicken. Reason 2 it is very wasteful. the sharks who they use to make the soup have their fins cut off while their alive and the sharks are then thrown in the ocean to dye slowly and painfully. Reason 3 Because of it's growing popularity 12,000 sharks are being harvested an hour to make this soup. Many people believe that we should harvest sharks so they won't eat people. That is a lie! Sharks kill around 1 person a year while bikes are responsible for 120,000 serious injuries and deaths. Thank you and remember S.O.S. (save our sharks)

I agree totally, Michael. I think becuase of the past people don't like sharks because of movies and other events. That gives them no right to do this. It's like treating a person awful because of what they did in the past even when they a trying to change.This is horrible this isn't just happening to sharks either it's happening to fish, sharks, whales, dolpins, squids and other underwater life. Thanks for caring and I hope the world will be more like us!

I think the country that needs to change the most is China because they are responsible for 84% of the shark fining. (p.s

Hey Mario sharks eat fish, crabs, lobsters, seals, sea lions and White Pointers (GREAT WHITES) eat Dolphins (yum).

u are right because shark fin soup is tastless and it is cruel.they really shouldnt do that.it is also unhealty. it contain mercury and stuff in it(ugh)
