Maximum Ride: School’s Out Forever starts off with Max Ride, a fourteen-year-old girl, and her friends Fang, Iggy, the Gasman and Angel. There’s only one difference between Max and other teenage girls; she has large, feathery wings! Max and her friends were taken from their parents when they were young and had their DNA spliced with birds. Now, Max and her flock are constantly on the run from the School and its evil scientists. Everyday they are chased by Erasers, large werewolf-like creatures, and their leader Ari.
Soon an FBI agent named Anne adopts the flock and sends them to a rich private school in the Virginian rural farmlands. At the school, the flock notices that something very fishy is going on. Suddenly, the group is trapped at Anne’s home, who reveals she is the head of the School! Will Max and the flock make it out alive? Or will they be forced hto run in mouse wheels and the School’s labs?
Maximum Ride: School’s Out Forever is a fantastic novel written by James Patterson. The novel has just the right amount of humor, action and adventure that will keep you on the edge of your seat! The characters seem very realistic and their own unique personalities. The setting is well described with lots of scenery and picturesque locations. The plot has a number of different twists, such as finding Iggy’s real parents, but it can seem too thick and hard to follow if you haven’t read the first book. I would give this book a 4 out of 5 because it has a lot of action and adventure but the plot is too windy. I would recommend this book to anybody who loves reading sci-fi/ comedy novels.

It is one of my favorite books series, its good enough to make me do fanart and that's saying something, I think fanart is soo uncreative. I'm interested to see where Max's and Fang's little awkward relationship.
Until the next book I shall sit on the edge of my seat.
