Julie of the Wolves :

My book report is on Julie of the Wolves by Jean Craighead George. It is about this Inuit girl named Miyax who runs away from her unhappy marriage (In her culture you can marry at thirteen) then runs away into the Alaskan wilderness all alone.

She befriends a pack of wolves then decides to come back to her old town to finally find her missing father. She gets lost again and runs back to the wolves. Amaroq, the leader (a very good one at that) helps her survive through her journey. Coming back again, trying to find her old Eskimo town, a helicopter follows them and then…

I thought this book was very good!!!! I would give it a four out of five because at most parts it's sad and emotional. It really tugs your heart and you never want to put it down! I hope you enjoy this book.
