My grandpa's hobby is model railroading. I've grown up watching him and liking trains so he got me this new book called Timmy and Tammy's Train of Thought. He read a train magazine review that said the book was very good. Well he was right!

The book begins with how parents treat their son and daughter to a ride on a little park train. But to their surprise, the train they are on grows into all types of bigger locomotives.

The artist really knows how to draw, and his many different trains are detailed and have personality. The colors and characters are bright and every shade of the rainbow. The train sounds change and make you want to buy your own ticket. This story is a lot more interesting than Thomas the Tank Engine, which is pretty much the best thing I could say about it. I'm glad my grandpa got me this book, and I think he is too.
