Shadow Children Series by Matgaret Peteron Haddix
This series of books was awesome. They make you sit and think of how great our lives are....how free we are. It is scary to think that things like this may actually be happening in our world. I would highly reccommend these books to anyone. They are definately the type that you "can't put down".

I love this book!!! It's Very good. You don't know what you're missing if you don't read these books. My teacher made me read it and I thought it was really good when I finished, so I looked high and low for the sequel, and it turns out, ever since people started reading these books... they can't get enough!

A real page turner, I read it in 3 days and after that, two of the sequals. I recommend it too 5 & 6th graders.

I teach at an Alternative school (6th-12th grade). One of my 8th grade students recommended this series. I have visted several libraries in the county to find these books and am currently getting ready to read book 5. I will order this series for my school as soon as I get more funding! I would like to know if this series has been made into a TV special or movie... the picture on Among the Betrayed looks a lot like Sarah Michelle Gellar.

My daughter is in grade six and brought one of these books home. It looked really good, and I had a little spare time, so I picked it up and landed up reading it in one sitting! She is now bringing me home the series from the beginning and I am now reading them almost as soon as they come in the door!!

The whole series is amazing. its like a whole new world that you'd never think of. where everything is in total disaster and yet people are strong and want to get rid of the population rule.when my grade 7 teacher started reading them to us my whole class wanted to start reading them. we had arguments over who would get it first when the next book came out!

This series is wonderful and i love all the sespese and its for all ages and its so realstic. I love the idea about the third children being illegal and how they get fake i.ds and how jen starts the rally but dies, and how jason betrays his 'friends' and Nina is forced to and how luke is really attacked to his cause.
