The Giving Tree is a good book, it is a good story. it will teach you that it is good to give, giving will make you feel even better then when you get something. you will like the story, your mommy and daddy could read it to you at bed time and you will really like it too.

I like this book too. Shel Silverstein usually writes silly and funny stories and poems. This is different.

it teaches young children that even when you think that you have nothing to give or share you really do i recomend this as a bedtime book for a younger child

when i first heard this story i was in grade 3 now being in my 20's i still love and enjoy everything this book has to offer. when i first read this book i cried and couldnt beileve what a great book i had just read. i would recommened for everyone who has children or is going to have children or just plain knows any children, get this book. it will make you see life just a little different.
