I got The Questory of Root Karbunkulus this summer and loved it sooooo much! It’s packed full of magic and it’s about a girl who gets put on a team with two boys and they have to race against a whole bunch of other kids in a magical land called DreAmm. They are all trying to get the Mist of Kalliope which is a really powerful potion and there are only six of them. This book is funny and mysterious and it's the first one in a series. Each new book is a new item. In the second book there's only five of the next item, then four in the next book and they keep getting narrowed down until in the last book its just two teams after the last item. But what I loved is that there is more to this than just a race. And this first book only touches upon what is really going on which is a serious battle of good and evil. The author Kamilla Reid made this story really exciting and funny at the same time and I can't wait for the second book! Plus the website is totally AMAZING!

My neighbor wrote The Questory of Root Karbunkulus! I got to pick what it says on the back of the book! I've read it four times! If you love Root Karbunkulus, check out www.rootkarbunkulus.com. We ordered 4 of the Root Karbunkulus books for our school but I can't get any students to read them. The level is much higher than the Author suggests and the beginning of the story is pretty confusing -the children who tried to read it, quit in frustration.

Kamilla Reid came to my school too and she was so funny! I got the book and read it in two days and I'm 11 years old. I loved it!
