Ok. Television. One of the most controversial subjects in the world. T.V. You either love it, you hate it or you like it-but you CAN'T ignore it. It's there, it's here. It's EVERYWHERE. Why? Money mostly-but seriously, some people hate T.V and call it an eye wrecker and a waste of time. Some people only dislike certain programs, like MAD TV or say...Spike T.V-whereas some people enjoy all programs. Of course T.V is bad for a long period of time-like people who watch T.V straight for hours-that's crazy, even today i hardly watch T.V, i just play Playstation, go to CBC.ca/kids and other fun sites on the computer and i watch maybe two or three good shows and the occasional movie. I give T.V. a 5/5 for being cool and (sigh) educational.

You're right. T.V. CAN be educational- if you're not wasting time on comedies and dramatic garbage. I guess I'm a hypocrite, though, because I watch a good three hours of t.v. everyday! I'm trying to quit watching so much, but it's hard. It's kind of like and addiction, stupid as that sounds. But for every hour I watch t.v. I'm reading or hanging out with my friends, so I guess it levels out. Also, about one third of my t.v. watching is the history channel and daily planet.

I don't really know if DVDs count as TV, but if they do I really need to cut back. The only actual shows on TV I watch are The Simpsons, Royal Canadian Air Farce / 22 Minutes, and The Outlet! The rest are Japanese Anime that I own.

YOU ARE RIGHIT.I THINK T. V. IS NOTHING BUT WATCHING PEOPLE HAVE FUN AND ADVENTURES.LISTEN, I WATCH TONS OF T.V..IT'S SO ADDECTIVE! IT FEELS LIKE 3 MIUTES 'TILL YOU FIND OUT IT'S BEEN 2 HOURS!MOST OF THE TIME,NONE OF THE SHOWS I LIKE ARE ON.SO ON THE WEEK END,I WACH T.V. A.S.A.P.!

OK IM NOT GOING TO LIE AND SAY THAT I NEVER WATCH TELEVISION!!! BUT I DO AGREE ON THE FACT THAT IT IS AN ADDICTION, IT BECOMES SO BAD THAT KIDS NOW A DAYS DONT EVEN WANT TO LEAVE THERE HOUSES TO GO PLAY WITH THEIR FRIENDS BECAUSE THERE TOO BUSY WATCHING T.V. WE NEED TO AGREE THAT ESPECIALLY CHILDREN NEED TO BE MONITERED AND HAVE A WEEKLY SCHEDULE OF 2HRS OF T.V. TIME. SO IM NOT HATING ON ALL THE PEOPLE THAT LOVE IT, AND IT IS EDUCATIONAL AT THE SAME TIME. BUT LETS THINK OF ALL THE OTHER GREAT WAYS WE COULD BE SPENDING OUR TIME ;P
