I don’t know if anyone but me would consider this a hobby, but I enjoy collecting rare or out of print books. Of course, I doubt anyone loves to read as much as me!
I gave my review a 1 because I'm still uncertain if it can be qualified as a hobby, plus the only real reward a "normal" person (a.k.a not me) could get out of it was selling all the books to crazed collectors for way more money then an average person would pay for it. Since I shall NEVER sell my precious darlings, all I get is an empty pocket. Oh, well. Guess I'll have to wear this Tim Hortons hat for a little longer than I intended!
But if you do love books, and have an unlimited supply of cash, or just like owning lots of rare things, maybe you should take it up! Who knows, maybe in twenty years the book will be worth thousands!

I think collecting books of any kind is a hobby, I do it myself and I'm sure lot's of other people do too. A hobby is something you really like to do or you do often.

Of course it's a hobby, mom and I do it! Mostly the old 30's Nancy Drew books is what we collect.
