The Hichhiker's Gudie to the Galaxy Series-
The Hichhiker's Gudie to the Galaxy Series is one of the best series of books I've ever read. It's about a person from London, named Arthur Dent, who wakes up one day to find that his house has a yellow bulldozer in front of it, about to destroy his house. He finds out later, through Ford Prefect, a researcher for the Hitchhiker's Gudie to the Galaxy, that his house is not the only thing being destroyed that specific Thursday. The Earth was being destroyed by the horrible creatures known as Vogons, to make way for a bypass. This sends Arthur on a journey across the Galaxy and through time, encountering things he never imagined exsited.
This series is written by Douglas Adams, is science fiction, and includes the following books:
The Hicthhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
The Restaurant at the End of the Universe
Life, the Universe and Everything
So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish
Mostly Harmless
All of these books are mixed together in The Ultimate Hicthhiker's Guide, which I got as an early birthday present recently.
Some contant in this book may not be suitable for some young children under 12 or so, but my mom recondmended this book to me.
I give The Hichhiker's Gudie to the Galaxy Series a 5 out of 5 because the books are interesting and extremly hilarious.
Discover the cleverness of Douglas Adams, and the answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everthing (you can find out the question though, that's a bit more difficult:].)

Sad to say, I've never actually read the books, although I have seen the movie. By the way, great writing skills! I bet you could be a full time reviewer if you wanted to! :)

I really loved the 'Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy' series. Douglas Adams is an amazing writer. Did you know that he bases his ironic style of writing on the 'Winnie the Pooh' series? Most people don't know it, but the real, old, 'Winnie the Pooh' books were not for little kids and used sophisticated, subtle adult humor.

These are great books! i saw the movie first, I didn't get it at all though. Now that I've read the books, it makes more sense, but I think the books were much better.
Thanks for saying I write well, I try to. In here I made one mistake though. At the end I wrote,"(you can find out the question though, that's a bit more difficult:].)" I meant to say, "can't" instead of, "can." Sorry 'bout that.
Thank you for commenting!
