The Suite Life of Zack and Cody is yet another show to grace the hallowed halls of Disney preteen programming. Unfortunately, this show won't be gracing anything any time soon.
The show's basic premise is that twin boys and their showbiz mother move into a hotel, where the twin boys proceed to embark on wild adventures that are sure to appeal to the preteen crowd.
It can be acknowledged that the adventures do appeal to its target audience (hence the high ratings), but from a creative standpoint The Suite Life is anything but.
The characters are two-dimensional and uninteresting. Zack and Cody's actors have no facial expression and seem rather pathetic, making me wonder why they seem to be the heartthrobs of every preteen girl out there.
The supporting cast is also dull and stereotypical, from the obvious Paris Hilton ripoff to the showbiz mother that could at least keep her children from running all over the hotel (and even in off-limits areas! I mean, what's up with that?) so that she seems like an actual parent.
As well, the plots are evidently recycled from the massive rubbish bin of TV shows past and present. One episode plot's use of a telephone box time travel machine to travel to a parallel universe clearly mirrors that of the Doctor Who episode Rise of the Cybermen, which was made earlier than said episode. (I doubt The Suite Life's producers just pulled that one out of their ears.)
In conclusion, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody is bland, unrealistic and unoriginal.

Alright, that is your opinion, but some people really like this show. Like me, for example, I happen to think it is quite funny and original. And how is the episode "The Suite Smell of Excess" anything like the Doctor Who episode "Rise of the Cybermen" (other than the fact that the time machine oddly ressembles the T.A.R.D.I.S)?

I love that show,it is very funny!Whoever wrote that reveiw needs to think of it from a tweens perspective.And why would we care if it has ideas from a different show? The writers might of meant for some of the ideas to be reconisable to the veiwers.

This is my favorite show.I've seen every episode made!My parents approve because it's not dumb or rude.The writer is amazing @ writing and the actors have good expression.I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you ever notice that the kids who think this show "rox" often have spelling mistakes and all-to-common errors in their writing. That obviously says something about the audience. Looks like pre-teens don't really watch this kind of stuff. Let's look at the facts; One: the girls on here seem to thnk Zack and Cody are cute. Hmmmm, is that maybe the reason so many children are watching this show? Two: Back to the spelling errors thing, obviously young kids like to watch it. Three: A variety of girls and boys are watching regularly. Four: It's the people with a range of vocabulary who find this show two dimensional and boring. Most of these kids are imature which explains the interest in this television program and why "we" are doubing it boring and pointless to watch. Disney channels mind-set is dead set against children being actually intelectual. Thus proving your point.

This is yet another toxic show Disney is feeding to the peers that I thought had good taste. The two main characters are basically brats that run around the hotel causing mischief and interacting with characters that are like used paper; flat, second-hand and messy. This is a great review you wrote.

I really like this show it’s really funny. They always do funny things to entertain us and keep us laughing; I enjoy watching this show because it reflect on teens lives and its my favorite show I watch it everyday. This show is very good and very interesting; they should never stop making this show. This is the best show ever.
