Firehouse Dog:

Hello! it's Allison, creator of Dark Bud Productions! (Kamutzu: King of Cats....) Today my review is on the movie, "Firehouse Dog."
Even for a kid's movie, this latest flick was pretty darn bad. It's the classic cliche; wonder dog gets lost, surly boy meets wonder dog, they become best friends, wonder dog's real owners kidnap him, yada yada yada.
The plot line in this movie kept taking nonsensical twists, and there was far too much bathroom humor. (Did they really need to go so far as to have Dewey poop in the stew?...) The actors were pretty substandard, the music sounded like a video game, and the effects weren't too great either, especially when it came to the fire scenes. Also, the whole film had this atmosphere about it that made me just want to get up and leave.
All in all, I give this movie a 1 out of 5. After the film got eaten up by the projector at the end of the movie, nobody was sad. ;-)

I love your Dark Bud Productions, but I haven't reall caught the king of cats things, I've seen 'em, I've just haven't seen the whole thing, just the begining because when i record things it records to a certain point, i just see the begining, nice animation though. (A book about cats and martial arts is called "Varjak Paw" by SF Said, it was pretty good[I'm more of a dog person, this book is about this cat whose family's history consists of martial art preforming cats that preform the 'Way', which is what he has to learn in this book]. Maybe you could read it for inspiration on your series or something.)

Anyway, yeah, this movie never did appeal to me, the previews looked stupid, I'm glad I didn't see it, good review:]

Thanks, Madeline! What a coincidence, I have actually read Varjak Paw before! And it did give me lots of inspiration! I might do some more Kamutzu: King of Cats, but right now I'm very busy with the Catonisian Chronicles.

Cool, I don't have any animating tools, but I would love to make videos like that and post them on the outlet.

the cutest movie...you can't beat the part where the dog poops in the stew

I agree is was pretty pridictable, but it was worth is to see the main charector, he is soooo cute!!!

To Lauren...

The dog... or the boy? XD

it is the best movie I ever saw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Firehouse dog was great! Every part of it was indeed very enoyable. . . for little kids! It was not a bad movie, but not a great movie either. It was decent and I suppose if you're a dog lover you should rent it. You never know what kind of movie could become you top favorite!
