Alright. This might be painful for some people to hear but-Family is the worst.
All Family Guy has is bad and disgusting jokes for 22 minutes. They have hardly no plot, they are a rip off of The Simpsons, The baby wants to kill people, They have nasty jokes, no heart no love, they make fun of everyone and that's pretty much it. Of course Simpsons made good episodes in the 90's, but NOW they're as bad as Family guy.

I agree. Alot of kids like that kind of stuff, but I don't see why. I would never watch that show!

The first couple of seasons of Family Guy were funny on occasions, but now I think it's pretty offensive. They really do copy The Simpsons. That's pretty much where their best jokes come from. Like in that episode where Peter grows a beard, and some birds build a nest in it, and when he's at the movie theatre, whenever Peter tries to eat his popcorn, the birds keep snatching them. That was from The Simpsons, where Homer is watching TV and eating chips, and Santa's Little Helper (The Simpson's dog) keeps snatching his chips. The Simpsons is better, more appropriate, and funnier.

The thing with Family Guy is that it ISN'Tfor all veiwers, so alot of younger children wont get the show and wont think its funny because the jokes are meant for a more adult audience, it is one of the reason the cartoon channels show it later in the night, when all the little kiddies are in bed.
And for it copying The Simpsons---Everyone has copied The SImpsons at one point or another because it has been such a long running television show. It is always bound to happen---and The Simpsons themselves copies other popular culture topics, it's where they get some of their material from.
Did you know THe Simpsons was only created because Matt Groening wanted to do his own aniamted version of the Canadian Comedy Show SCTV. (I believe that is the name of the show...bit sketch with it).
Since so much stuff has already been done in our world not every idea is a bonafide original; someone is always copying someone else.

Simpson has never been all that wholesome, and it is always copying off of old tv shows and movies. Just because you don't enjoy the classics, or flick to the old tv networks once in a while, does not mean that family guy is the only one at fault! So family guy is bad because it copies off of the newer movies, instead of the older ones, huh?
Besides, if yu don't like it, don't watch it. I mean, you must be a pretty frequent viewer if you know all about it's wretchedness. Or did you just get all your info from a review? If so, then you have no right to speak smack about until you've watched it.. ugh!!

i work with children ages 10-17 and must say this show commonly found during family prime time watching hours is having a negative affect on our young kids who find ways to watch it. Or when parents allow them.

Well i disagree with it being boring, but i do agree with the fact that the jokes drag on for so long that after the fisrt 2 minutes of the joke its just not funny. other then that i dont agree with it being a rip-off to the simpsons there 2 completely different shows aimed for 2 totally different types of audiences. so please shildren under the age of 14 should definately not watch this show.

i disagree family guy is very funny and should be aloud sure it makes fun of actors and other celebs but common im sure they laughed about it to like us im sure if u sat down and watch i garantee that u will laugh to mabe not all the time but at least once or twice.

First of all they use alot of social sattire so idk how old many of you are but you have to actually know what they're making fun of and yea theres alot of random funny stuff thrown in too. Just like how alot of kids watch south park but they dont realize half of what the show is making fun of.

You wouldn't find Family Guy funny unless you're actually old enough to understand their comedic humour. You wouldn't understand what they're making fun of or what they're talking about throughout the episodes. I agree with Nate.

This is getting ridiculous. Where are your parents Cauy? The whole reason this issue started is becuase of plagurism and sick humour. Some people don't like it, others do. Those others are usually 14 year olds and adults. That's why there is a warning at the beginning suggesting you don't watch it unless you are over 14. Ususally people over 14 are mature and understand these sick jokes a bit better, that's the audience the producers of family guy are aiming to please. Which is the reason none of you get the jokes and/or gross scenes in Family Guy. If you don't like it, don't watch it and LISTEN TO THE WARNING AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SHOW. It might explain things better. Also, by promoting Family Guy at a young age (even if you are abnormally mature) can get kids to follow your actions and think it's cool to talk about... you know. Thus in-turn making parents and teachers alike very upset. Watch Family Guy on your own time and make sure you act mature about it. Because if you're watching it, you're obviously mature enough to handle it. Geez, you guys.
