runescape is a decent game, only thing i dont like about it is that the community is collapsing a bit...ive been playing for one and a half years, and one of the first friends i met just scammed me from all my money 10m or so, so you gotta be carefull even with your friends. apart from scammers taking over the rest is very good especially pking =p

Runescape is all around good game with caring sponsers who upgrade the game very often, Non members is axcellent but members rock. with all the minigames and new oppurtunites. Its game worth playing and even paying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Runescape is so, so. Im lvl 72 in it... Been playing for 2 years. The only thing i hate about it is it hasnt really updated and the graphics arent so good. 8 out of 10

Runescape is the worst site. Son was a member for 2 years. Got hacked into and within 1 day had 9 offenses. Reported hacking appealed offenses but they denied them. Got hacked into a 2nd time was not even home or on any computers, said he bought Runescape money with real money, said they had proof,said I had proof we were not home and he was not on a computer.
Fought for 2 months they permanently banned his person. Appealing and reappealing do nothing. They never investigate into issue. ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY!!! DO NOT PLAY!!! WORST SITE EVER!!!

i respect all of your ideas. I think that runescpae is an ok* game, but not to spend all of your time on. It does allow you to be a different person than you are in real life, meet new friends, and more, but runescpae also has some bad sides. The thing I hate most about runescape is the lies, deciet, and cheating. It's unbelievable! I do play it like on the weekends for 1 hour each day and its not bad. I dislike how people lie to you, just to get your stuff. I'm a lvl 43 with 57 strength. $0 attack, 47 hitpoints, 38 fishing, and 35 cooking. It's a start. However, don't pester me wiht questions all the time or beg for money. Please! This is incredibely annoying, so just spend the time to earn money. Some skills that are good are fishing lobsters and selling them for 250 each, mining coal or iron for 100 to 300 each, killing hill-giants for big bones and sellling them for 300 each (hill-giants are around lvl 28 or so), or going pking with your friends for items. Be careful when your pking though! Although runescpae is an alright gmae, I like to spend time wiht my real friends in life and chatting, playing soccer, hockey, playng wolfenstein (1 player shooting game, pretty fun!), and just having fun in life!

I agree with all of you guys there's good tjings and bad things about the game. I also play the gane every once and awhile but I recommend to you runescape addicts to slow down play a couple times a week so you're not obsest with it. When you become addicted and play 24/7 you start to lose friends in the real life and you're considered a freak. I've seen this happen before so I decided to stop playing for a year or so. So to you runescape fans out there lay off the game for a couple weeks and get back into reality

I love runescape I recently bought 500m off of ebay for my acount it was onley 200$ i am so happy now i can finaly afford full adament i am such a good player (lvl 32) i can easily kill anything. I would do anything for runescape like a week ago my best friend died of lucimia and i got to get his runscape acount it was the happyest day of my life i will never , ever stop playing runscape

Runescape sucks so bad, I had my account for 2 years got my level to 110 and then i was banned for my name having the word humper in it lol. they let me use that name then wait two years and ban me. My name was to offensive but they wouldnt let me change it but the mod was kind enough to show me a way to cheat and transfer my bank items to a new account. lol ban my acct for the word humper then try to help me quit dont bother with runescape

It's an awesome game.
The graphics are the best Java graphics in existence - it's amazing how far they've pushed it. The game is constantly being updated with new content, and there are far few autoers and hackers than a year ago. It's not particularly addicting, but it's certainly intriguing.
The community is also much better than it was a year ago, but really only on Members. The free to play game isn't worth it (and I'm willing to bet that most of the people who posted here are free to play).

If you keep your computer free of viruses and don't give out your password you shouldn't have a problem getting hacked, its your fault you got hacked

I have been playing Runescape since it came out.. so maybe i have a sentimental attachment to it since it was my first MMO.. Ive been hacked once and forgot my pass once, but i still play it it really is a good game and they are coming out with a graphics update for it as well. I switch between this and wow whenever i get bored of one though sometimes I will quit both for a while. Overall it is a great game and worth being a member for only 5 bucks.

I have been playing for 1 and a half years and i am a level 84, runescape rocks! it is a little boring at first but as you level up it gets really fun, i have been member for 3 months and it is soo cool i made like 6M in 1 month from getting dragon bones and dragon hide!

this is really good training for buisness skills, especially after the opening of the grand exchange, the fun thing about runescape is that u have to adventure around looking for that valuable item that will make u rich, or train mining etc. skills which will take long but afterwards it will pay off

In my opinion, I think RuneScape is pretty addicting to be honest, but it is very fun. Though, the membership is too costly for just 1 month, but it is worth it. Also I think when you play everyday (which I do) it starts to get boring, but it is still fun.

I've been playing RS for 2 years now and I'm one of the more "Famouse" people. Please do not say "Oh runescape sucks" if you just got in the tutorial. Once you get to communicate with friends and fight stronger monster like Khalphite Queen, or King Black Dragon, or... Um.... Jad! There are alot of things to do in runescape so don't start the tutorial and say it stinks, try out more and train your stats to like 99.

ice played this game since i was 6 and im 12 now and to me its fun as i got older i found a bit more onapropiatnes becuase of my lvl. but i founf that this game is a terific way to meet new people and have fun : )
