Jaroslav Halak is a 21 year old rookie goalie who playes for the Montreal Canadiens. Halak was called up to the Canadiens from the Hamilton Bulldogs on Februrary 15th, 2007 after Cristobal Huet went down with injury. Halak saw his first action on Februrary 18th against the Columbus Blue Jackets. With the Canadiens, Halak started 16 games, posting a 10-6 record. Before being called up, Halak was having an amazing season with the Hamilton Bulldogs with a 16-11 record and a league leading 2.00 Goals Against Average. Unfortunately, the Montreal Canadiens did not make the playoffs. Jaroslav Halak currently is playing for his native Slovakia at the IIHF World Hockey Championships.
Halak was drafted 272st overall in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.

halak is good but to inform you his last 5 ahl games were bad. He lost 6 to 3 first. then they lost 2 to 0. HE THEN HAD HIS WORST LOST AND GOT PULLED CAUSE THEY LOST 8 TO 2. they then lost 3 to 2 and then 6 3 agian. just bad luck i guess.

Jake, He Didnt play his last five games in the ahl he was in the nhl.
