My friend and I bought a book called "Stupid Sock Creatures" by John Murphy about a month ago and since then we have had loads of fun creating the goofiest little monsters imaginable with...just an old pair of socks! It's true! The book comes with instructions for about 10 different creatures from fairly easy to make to a bit more difficult. once you are more experienced in the art of sock stitching the sky is the limit! Take bits and pieces from different designs or create something all your own! You don't even need a sewing machine! The book comes with all the materials you will need. The instructions are a bit difficult in some parts but the best thing about making your own silly creature is there is no way to make a mistake!
I guarantee, you won't stop laughing once you see these little guys!

Oh my gosh, i saw this book at a bookstore recently! I really loved one of the creature, I forgot what it's name was........... I want a sock monkey for my upcoming birhday, sock creatures rock!

i made one! he had a few mess-ups,but he turned out soooo cute! he's made out of my dad's old fishing socks (so he's huge) and I named him ozwald! i couldn't take my eyes off him so i brought him to school today!

bought the book for my daughter....hooked myself on accident...now ive made nearing 100 of my own designs! mydaughter has made 4...i think its an illness.
