Fairest:

I just recently finished reading the book "Fairest" written by Gail Carson Levine. I really enjoyed it because it included many of the things I like to hear about such as adventure, humour and fantasy. Another thing that made this book really intersting was that it used alot of description. For example, if someone in the book was ugly, they would describe exactly how they were ugly. Also, the main character is a girl and she does not just sit around waiting for her prince to come. She actually saves people and has her own advernture. It was a mix of fairy tale and adventure which was cool because the adventure made the book more exciting than a typical fairy tale. I would rate it four stars because I liked all the things I mentioned above about it, I disliked that at some parts they would have a page-long song that she sang. It was very boring and I often even skipped over the songs because they were so boring. Other than this, I found the book enchanting and a must-read for all those who enjoy that type of book.

oh my gosh! I am so happy to find another person named zoe that didn't have a y at the ending. What kind of classical fairy tale do you think this is like and how ugly is she?

I rock and this book rock's!

I really liked this book- hope there is gonna be another book in this world!!

I really think that as Gail Carson Levine has written more and more books, she has grown. If you compare the Princess Tales (vol. 1 and 2) to Fairest, there is SO much improvement.

I think this book is great as well. Have you read her other books,"The two Princesses of Bamarre" and "Ella Enchanted"?
