Darcy's Wild Life:

I am here to talk about the show "Darcy's Wild Life", in which a young, naive, spoiled brat moves to the country with her mother. Now, this premise may seem amusing to anyone who hasn't seen The Simple Life, but this show is, sadly, The Simple Life's poor cousin.
First off, the casting is weak and inconsistent. Darcy, the title character, seems rather shallow and undeveloped, both in character and in emotion. (A running gag throughout the show has Darcy running away from animals and screaming.) Her mother is mysteriously portrayed with a British accent, which makes me suspect that this is not actually her mother, who is normally nature-loving. The other characters range in shallowness, from the typical stuck-up girl named Brittany to the red-head with zero character to the boy with long hair named Eli who is NOT a looker and thus it is puzzling why all the girls have a crush on him to the young child who likes animals who is the only star among the dull lightbulbs of this so-called comedy.
Despite these shortcomings, however, Darcy's Wild Life manages to try and gain an actual audience by comparing itself to The Simple Life. Unfortunately, Darcy is nowhere as funny as Paris Hilton and thus fails due to her flat portrayal.
In conclusion, Darcy's Wild Life is a show that, like all life, must eventually die. (Hopefully someone will have the sense to do so before it drags on for another tedious season.)

Darcy's Wild Life is a show that isn't that great. I like Sarah Paxton, but just not the show.

I really like Darcy's wild life because it shows you how you can never get what you want. You have to be gratefull for what you have.

I agree. You can put this show into the same canon as the other "desperate for a laugh" goofball comedies. I am talking about The Suite Life of Zach and Cody, Zoey 101, and other mindless jokes where the main characters are nothing more than clowns tripping over one another for a weak attempt for a laugh.'
I agree that Eli is a punk. He is in desperate need of a hair cut and some intellect. I can't stand anyone on the show save the level-headed veterinarian that seems to be the community's only bright spot.
The lessons are interesting yet the show consistently misses the mark.
