This is a funny Movie. Chevy Chase Plays in this hilarious comedy. Every part is funny from when he puts in a huge Christmas tree in the living room that pops his windows, breaks his furniture and get sap on everything, to when he puts on the Christmas lights and his outrageously funny dellemas. Also Louis Dreyfus or something like that plays a funny neighbour. She also played in the funny comedy show, Seinfeld. Watch The Lampoons' National Christmas Vacation-THIS HILARIOUS MOVIE!

Let me just set a few things straight: First of all, it's spelled "dilemmas". Also, the neighbour is played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

Ahahaha! It's become somewhat of a family "tradition" to watch this movie every year! It's definitely not suitable for young kids, but for ages 12+ it's great! My favorite scene is when he (I forget what the guy Chevy Chase was playing's name...) takes the tree out of his neighbour's yard when he's really, really, really mad! XDDDD

I don't know what the average age is here, but I'm 22, and I'm only "giving my two cents" because I've watched this movie since it came out in 1989. This is the funniest Christmas movie ever! It's also one of those movies you can watch anytime of the year; it never gets old.
This is how Christmas really is for people; hassle. Maybe you don't get stuck under an 18-wheeler or chop down your neighbours' tree for your own because your uncle burnt yours down, it's about being a family and together for the Holidays.
Although, watching the Griswolds be completely miserable is pretty hilarious!
