The following is a totally unoficial public announcement:
Okay, I know I might be one of the only people who wasn't hooked on these things when they made a comeback. That's because they SUCK! Yet I'm the only one who I had realized this when they became hot again. My advice is, DON'T EVER BUY ONE! When you do, most people don't stop. And if you already have one, force yourself to take the batteries out. This message was brought to you buy the people who don't like Tamagotchis.

I have a version two, without the antenna,
and it is pretty fun. Although I did go without
it for a year and a bit. That`s because the battery died, and I just didn`t get another one.
Forgot about it.

DUDE AND DUDETTES CALM DOWN ! We are not getting anywhere! it may be so that most people loved them when they first came out and that they hate them now.but it's also possible that people still love them now. And please if your going to state your opinion make it longer than one sentence.

When you first get them you are obsessed for a month. Then the next month it is like daily. Then the next month you hardly play with them. And the fourth month you realize how stupid and a waste of money they are. They are stupid little virtual pets that BEEEP when they want somthing. Whats the point?

I use to like Tamagotchi's when it first came out. Now it's just boring. I just gave them to my cousin who loves it. Im giving u a good advice dont but tamagotchi's u might want it now but later it will get boring and thats just a waste of your money.

Tamagotchi's SUCK! Not worth the 20$ the stores sell them for. I thank you, former totally-obsessed people for posting about how much these things suck. I would have put 0 out of 5 when I created this, but you can't go lower than 1 out of 5. Anyways...-50 bazilion out of 1!

ok im in 9th grade...and not a loser. but i lovee these things!!!!!!!! they're soo adorable! and fun...cute too! yea. they get boring sometimes! but u can connect with other people play mini games, and take care of a pet! the v5 are the most prettiest! the designs are pretty! but im still waiting for a tamagotchi with color, a camera, and a keyboard to type messages to other people..oh! WIFI would be nice too!!!!! =] keep working bandai!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

tamagotchi v1 and v2 seem pretty boring to me but the v3, v4, v4.5, and v5 are awesome! who wouldnt want to raise a family of five in one tamagotchi. i thought raising one was loads of fun, but 5! one of the great things is that u can have pets too! i highly reccomend these toys for all ages. even my parents and grandparents said they r fun!!!

dude ( or dudette) tamagotchis are cool you just feed them and its really fun with games ( i got to generation 10 on mine)
i had a purple one when they first came out
a white and green one after that so i had two then they both ran out of battery and forgot bout them then i got a pink flowery one last year and it ran out of battery but i have a new battery and my dad is buying a second one so when it runs out i can just shove the other in"
