My review is on Chess. Chess is a very old board game that is all based on skill. You play on a checkers board. You and yourt own opponent each controll an army of 16 pieces (8 pawns, 2 rooks, 2 bishops, 2 knights, 1 queen and one king) that all move different ways.
The main idea of the game is to put the opposing king in a "Check Mate" wich is when the king is in a situation where wherever it goes, it will be captured. The highest rated Chess players are called Grand Masters and there are only 7 or 8 living grandmasters right now.
I am on the Chess Team at my school and my coach is an amazing Chess player. Some people think Chess is for nerds but it`s not !! They only say that because they are no good at it!
Even if you have no one to play with, there are millions of books on strategies and problems. I think everyone should try Chess and if they don`t like it, that`s fine, but if you do, it`s something that you will never regret!

i think chess is a dumb game and i dont get how to play it, i dont get how everyone can play it for so long and it looks boring too

I think is an adequate game. sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. I think chess requires brains and you have to think over your moves. Anyone can move a chess piece without thinking. The hard part of chess is deciding what strategy to use and therefore you can't just play chess carelessly. If you can't play chess now you may be missing out on a lot of fun.

I KNOW THIS MAY BE HARD TO BELIEVE, BUT I REALLY DON'T KNOW HOW TO PLAY CHESS! I REALLY WANT TO LEARN BECAUSE A LOT OF MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY SAY IT IS FUN.

I think no matter the age Chess teaches the mind to think better, to anticapate and plan. Of course it also requires understanding Chess and that it came from the need for a non-violent way of fighting wars......
I would suggest that anyone look up its history as well as how to play the game as its really interesting.
