The Series of Unfortunet Events is a great series. I love the whole mystery theme as well as the unrevelling of events. It talks about three orphans whose parents parished in a fire, set by the natorious villian Count Olaf. As he tries to beat the Orphans as they try to find the anwsers to the organization VFD. Lemony Snicket is a great writer and keeps suspense up 100/100

I've been keeping up with the hole series since it first came out. I got hooked the first book I read! I just couldn't put it down!! Now that I'm reading "The End" I don't want it to "End".

I love Lemony Snicket. Hes like the best author ever. Not everything thats said about him is true. But his writing is great! were the Baudleairs real?

I lve Lemony Snicket and wonder if the is a book called Chapter Fourteen? He should still be righting about the Baudelaire children and about Beatrice the new born. He rocks at writing and there sould be more movies on his books!!!!!

Lemony Snicket is a great writer. He uses quite descriptive words and then he also includes quite a bit of drama. I am always so intrigued by his books. They make me want to never put the book down. I have seen the movie, But I have only read #1 and my library has up to #13 so I am going to get up to there. I hope you all enjoy #14. I have to go. Remember, Peace and Love, Sheena.

I finished them last year. I still have yet to read The Beatrice Letters. I think it was a really interesting series. Lemony Snicket (DAniel Handler) is a very talented author.

I first started reading the books when my teacher challenged me and my friend to read the hole series. We started in November 2006. It is valentines today and i'm on the ninth book. They are the bomb!!!!!

Lemony Snicket is a really cool and intresting authour. This is one of the first series that I have read and they are the greatest books ever! I'm working on thirteen right now.(Their the most awesome books ever!!!!)

I was thinking there was a Book 14. Not too sure. Can anyone comfirm there will be a Book 14? I read the Chapter 1 of Book 14 but it seemed like it was ending. Count Olaf was died. o.o Well if there is a book 14 it will most likely be talking about the VFD and the sugar bowl. :3

I own the movie and all 13 books! They open my mind to new places and people! I hope one day to read the Beatrice Letters and meet Mr. Handler.

I've read all of the books and completly hope Danial Hangler A.K.A Lemeny Snicket comes out with something that tell us, the kids about vfd. Also who was that guy in the 12th book who wanted the orphans to come with them in the taxi. Lemony Snicket has made me proud of his books.

ive read all the books. they are the best books ever. but i cant remember this 14th chapter thing. it sounds so familiar. maybe i read it and forgot. i think i did actually. but like someone else said, i would have thought him to end the series differently than that. he left so much unexplained. the sugar bowl !!! what is it? even wikipedia cant tell me what it is hahaha. and what about the great unknown? if u look at the last picture in the 13th book, there is a shadow of a question mark in the water. like in book 11 on the radar in the submarine there was a large question mark on the screen. and they refer to it as the great unknown. I WANNA KNOW WHAT IT IS!! and a 14th book? i have no i dead i havent heard anything, seems unlikely because count olaf is dead, but i really really hope so.

"Chapter 14" is in The End. It is after the last chapter of "book the 13th", after the author/illistrator page, after the "letter to the editor". It is in book 13. BUT, I really hope that Daniel writes an actual 14th book.

THE END in the best book ever written by lemony snicket. has written. I enjoyed this book very much. My favorite part was when Olaf acted as Kit.

the 13th book better not be the end!!!!! TT___TT we still dont know about the sugar bowl, what happens to the Quagmire triplets, VFD, wether or not Mr. Poe is evil...all this stuff!!!! LS hasnt covered all these secrets in the 13th book hes just created more!!! TT___TT

I think that there may infact be a 14th book. Look at the clues: In the picture on the last page, there is a clue that gives information on what the next chapter will be about, and there was a question mark in the waves in the last picture. Also, every book had thirtten chapters, resultin gin thirteen books. But there are fourteen chapters in the last one, and that may result in a fourteenth book. And, there is so much left that left tons of answers that could be found in another book. Will they be proved innocent? Is one of their parents alive? Did a villian or volenteer survive the fire at the Hotel? Who was the man in the taxi that offered them a ride? Where are Duncan and Isadora and Quigley Quagmire? What will happen to Beatrice? What's in the sugar bowl, and where is it? Where it Captain Widdershins? And take a look at the letter to the editor: The end of THE END can be found near the end of THE END. Near? and the "About the author section" it says, "Lemony Snicket is still at large." Could he really sneak up on us with Book the Fourteenth, perhaps the Surprising Sequel?

near the end of the thirteen book, he writes
"my research is over, even though the Baudelaire's story isn't."
Wouldn't that raise our suspicions?"
could he mean that he needs no research, but the story isn't finished, or does he mean that he is done writing, but the baudelaire's will continue their journey?

When I first read A Series Of Unfortunate Events : The Bad Beginning, I got hooked! I love the mysteries that await, and I love how there are clues to solve. I really hope that they make more books for the Baudelaire's unfortunate lives.

There is no way for there to b a 14th because olaf is dead and it is better with everything a mystery. Revealin the sugar bowl, the great unknown, VFD, the little telescopes they had in the movie, who beatrice is, stuff about the new born, or any thing else would make the whole series suck and ruin his good writer reputation.

Lemony Snicket was my favorite author until I read Paula Danziger, Stephenie Meyer, Lea May, and a lot of other stuff. I'm rereading The Bad Beginning and I'm pretty hooked. Me and my friend were hooked. We went to the party for THE END at Barnes and Noble about a year ago. We were bored but so excited about the book. I have them all. I named my counselor at camp (John) Quigley Quagmire. The name just resurfaced from the back of my mind. I think he is a character. Not too sure.

I think that Lemoney Snikcet has writen the best books I have read. I am curently begging my mum to buy the sieres for me and I really hope that there is going to be a 14th. But I don't see how there can be a 14th because in the 13th don't they kill the Count Olaf. I can't put the books down i get in to trouble every night becasue I am secretly reading the series under the covers.

I loved this series, lemony snicket rocks! the movie sucked compared to the books. when i first saw the book @ the store i was like, "that looks stupid, & then my mom begged me to read them, & now i love them! my mom said they were to descriptive for her, but i dont think they are. he should continue the series though

This is a great book series. I have read all of them, and no, there is no book fourteen, but there is a chapter fourteen. The last book I think is sad. These books are not true stories, and Lemony Snicket has made up the character Beatrice.

Loved the entire series, except the 14th, which was a disappointment to me. Not the fact that the series was ending, but how they left you hanging... it could have ended better.
