I read these books, they are great. They are way better than Harry Potter. Also, They are so good you won't want to put a book from the Pendragon series down.

It is an excellent book, as you said i couldn't put it down after i read the first one. I am currently in yr 8 as well and and have just finished the 7th book and am waiting for the 8th to come out out at my local library. If you like this series you may like the mortal engines series.

Never heard of these. They sound kinda cool though. I might check them out.

To all the Pendragon fans out there the 8th is coming out on May 8th 2007, its called "The Pilgrims of Rayne". Looking forward to reading it and I can't wait!

Does anyone other than me think this book would make a great movie? But if they do they better follow the book, unlike Eragon. Personally, I thought the movie of Eragon just sucked, the book was amazing. I would love to see this book be made into a movie but D.J. better be there to make sure everything is good.

D.J. you realy need to make it a movie.students from schools all over the country realy want to see it in a movie. my freind and I have been thinking and thought you could use some of the mane characters from harry potter, for the movie.

I love this book, and the rest of them. They are really creative and really well written. I can be a little tough on books sometimes, but these books get a nine out of ten.

At the begining of the year I wouldn't have even atempt a book like these.But after I read the first one, I can't put them down.

i love these books and i can't put them down. the first book picked up slow as most first books in a series do. the second book was awesome, it was easily the reason i kept reading them. the third was a huge twist and it opened everyone's eyes to saint dane and how he can use the travelers to do the dirty work for him when they don't even know it. the fourth book was amazing. i loved the virtual reality in it and it made you think about what was going on a lot more. the fifth book was slow to start and ended pretty good. the sixth book was so predictable i almost didn't want to read the seventh but i just started it and i need to know when the eigth book comes out. between waiting for harry potter and pendragon the great i am going crazy.

The eight book is out right now "The Pilgrims of Rayne" and OMG wow I didn't see so much coming but I'm happy that Courtney found Mark and hopefully what he did will save all of Halla. Everything is messed up now because of Saint Dane, nothing is going to be normal again. It was such a good book I found myself skipping pages just to see what was going to happen, I lost sleep because of it, I'm so far behind in homework because of it. D.J. write faster I want to know what happens next!!

It only took me 5 months to read all 7 books plus I had to wait to get them but it is preety good for a 9 year old.

I think the books rock and I think they would do very well on film. Thnking that DJ is a script writer etc. he could probally write up one and keep it close to the books. Please keep it as close to the books as possible it would make a lot of people happy.

At the end of book 8 why did Bobby destroy the flume? I can see how it traps both him and Saint Dane but there is always 2 flumes to each territory and if Saint Dane knows where the other flume then Bobby's actions where pointless. With Gunny and Spader they just have to find the other flume and they would be able to get home well get back to the fighting. I think Mark might have been the turning point of all of Halla. Think about it his DADOs affected every territory but Courtney stopped him just like Bobby and the other Travelers stop Saint Dane. And maybe there won't be a turning point for Second and Third Earth because Saint Dane went for the beginning aka First Earth and if he had gotten that territory the rest of the Earth territories would have fallen. Second Earth would have the next biggest impact because it would lead to the fall of Third Earth. Maybe there is future territories to the original ones we knew of. We know there is 3 Earth territories and there is 2 Veelox, why can't that happen to the others. D.J. has said that the publication of the 9th would be in May 2008. The title has not been released but if anyone knows anything about the 9th book, PLEASE SHARE WITH THE REST OF US!!

D.J. has some news about up coming Pendragon items. Raven Rise is almost done and there won't be any advanced copies handed out. The Merchant of Death is going to be put into a graphic novel and its release date is May 20th. A new idea has come up, D.J. wants to write about the Travelers before they knew they were Travelers. There isn't much to be told right now but he wants to have them published before the 10th Pendragon. Hardcover for Black Water is coming out in November, and the paperback for Pilgrims of Rayne is December 26th but they could be out before then.

These books are so good!!! I even got my dad to read them. I am waiting for book 9. I am 9 and have read all except # 9 in 1 month. I want Saint Dane to come to second earth soon.

9th book raven rise will be the last in the pendragon series(mixture of duh and:{ ) probably start making the movies about ayear after release of raven rise

the ninth book raven rise is coming out march 20th................... about the movies......it would be awsome to have them but when you imagine them they seem impossible even with our new high tech..........i am sure d.j. has gotten movie offers but personally i think he is waiting for something big to happen in the movie theater buisness.............i also do not think that the new book will be the last of the pendraon series as they are to good..............what i do think that this book will be is that it will be the last book from bobby pendragons point of view................That is all........

Pendragon, is by far the best series I have ever read.

I found out when the next Pendragon is supposed to come out and its really disappointing but its supposed to come out in May 2009 :( DJ doesn't know the title yet. The 9th book wow I hate how Saint Dane made Bobby choose to kill Naymeer but its because he killed Naymeer that Third Earth is all messed up in my opinion. I'm glad we got Mark back but how could he be stupid enough to give Neeva his ring?! I know he wants his parents to live but still! I almost threw my book across my room when I read that. The ending that was kinda weird not going to lie but I like that we have all the Travelers back together, even Press!!

I just finished reading this series, and WOW. I remember when I first started reading book 1, and the moment I began reading, I was already drawn in, and that doesn't happen to me very often! I love these books better than Harry Potter. The characters are amazing, the plots adventerous and unpredictable. I'm so glad I decided to read this great series!!!
And Vo Spader is the best! I love that guy :)
