The Montreal Canadiens are the best hockey team ever!!! They've won the most Stanley cups in the NHL.(24 to be exact!)They've had a lot of good players over the years like Maurice Richard,Jean Beliveau,Guy Lafleur,Ken Dryden and players that are still playing today like Saku Koivu,Micheal Ryder,Chris Higgins and Cristobal Huet. If any team should win the Stanley cup this year it should be Montreal.

Everyone has their own opinion I guess, and although I disagree with you, you are entitled to your own opinion. However I have to question a few of your points, when the Canadiens won 24 Standley Cups, wasn't more then half of them when they were only 4 teams in the league?

There is no chance Montreal can win the cup this year. The senators have a better chance at winning the cup. lol

The Montreal Canadians are my favorite team of all the hockey teams, because they are in the record books for the most winning team. I think my favorite person is Sako koyvo. Montreal ROCKS!!!

Montreal has been doing very well up to date. I give a lot of credti to the coaching staff they are doing a great job with the team especialy defensively. the players are doing a great job as well, and to kyle the sens are'nt doing that great up to date and if they keep playing this way I cant even imagine them getting close to a playoff spot!!!!!!!11

Kingston is behind Montreal - all the way. Screw the Leafs and since Leaf fans hold his opinion in such high regards, even Don Cherry predicted that if he worked of a Montreal CBC head office, he'd be saying the Habs will make the playoff. Trade McCabe and I will re-evaluate.

Growing up in Quebec, I had the pleasure of watching the Nordics Vs The Habs, The Canadians Rule, Leafs just suck. Hey did I forget to mention they didn't make the play off's in 2006?
Common Leafs fans get off the losing side before they suck you in to the pit of dispair.

Im a huge Habs fan and thats a good post...the Habs will win the cup this season look at there dept this season young guys like Chipchura, Higgins, Graborski, Price. Senators do have a hell of a team for sure no doubt but all you have to do is get you 4th line to shutdown the Spezza line and you will see big results the Sens going from 1st to strugling to make the post season.

HABS are way better.. PLAY wise FAN wise.. people can say that the leafs have better fans.. when i goo to see them face the habs all i ever see is guys in suits and then they leave in the second period cause the leafs are losing 1-0.. leafs fans are the worst fans i have ever seen.. THE HABS FANS ON THE OTHER SIDE.. when u go to there games almost everysingle fan has somthing with the habs logo on it.. and they always support there hockey team.. this year is our year.. GO HABS :)

I just happened to breeze through the TV room. I don't watch hockey so when I saw the stripped uniforms on TV, my question was who are the "jailors". The responce was the Montreal Canadiens. The new uniforms are appaling. Stripes, really, who was thinking what???
