My book review is about ‘The Wolf Tower’, by Tanith Lee. 'The Wolf Tower' is a great book about a slave-born girl named Claidi, who hates being ordered around by a snobby princess named Jade Leaf. One day, as Claidi was out doing one of the many useless rituals (which Claidi despises), a young handsome boy falls from a hot-air balloon. The House, in which Claidi is enslaved by, captures the young man (Nemian) and locks him in a dungeon. Claidi risks her life to free him and bring him to his homeland. She has many adventures on her way there, as well as surprises and learns more about herself, her past and her family.

I like this book because it shows how much courage and bravery a young slave has, and how loyal and honest she is to the people she loves. Although Claidi finds the people she trusted has lied and manipulated her, Claidi holds her nose high with dignity and earns others respect. This is why I love ‘The Wolf Tower’, and I'm sure others will too.
