My review is on "The Outsiders". It was written by S.E. Hinton. It is abouted some things that happened to her and her friends as teens. The book is all about gangs and some pretty bad stuff. Some people even die. If you like sad books you will definitely like this one! I absolutely loved it and would recomend it to anyone (over 10).

I HATE THIS BOOK!! I had to read it last year and its soooooooooo boring. I mean I guess it might have had some meaning in the past but now its just a bunch of nerdy teens with slicked back hair. also the slang sucks.

I found this book rather enjoyable when I read it. I wouldn't give it outstanding points, but it's better than most books now days. It has lots of suspense, and it's not very boring and the characters are well-described. The only thing I found wrong with it was that almost everyone in the story, besides the main characters, were perceived as being bad.

i love this book! and one of the things you said was wrong, the book isnt about the author and her friends, she just based it on the socs and greasers. she was upset by the "racism" in her school between the rich kids and the poor ones and there weren't any books like that then so she wrote it herself when she was 16. the book is very well-written and as soon as i read it it was instantly one of my favourites. and im not illiterate, ive read lots of great books. s.e. hinton has wrote other books for teens as well like "tex", "that was then, this is now", "taming the star runner", and "rumble fish". i would definitely reccomend reading these, they're really good. :)

I thought that this book was the greatest book iv ever read. I thought that it was very interesting and I loved it so much. I don't think it was boring at all. It shows lives of teenagers and it teaches a lesson. I would of never thought it was good but it is and I think that everyone should reat it. I don't know why people say its boring because its not.

Stunning writing abilities for a 16 year old. She pulls you in to the story and gives you a connection with all of the characters.
Simply amazing

I read the Outsiders in class and I loved it. This is a perfect book for ages 12 and up. I also watched the movie and I also liked it. They did leave out some things, but the book is better than the movie.
