My review is on Lesia's Dream by Laura Langston. This book is about a family that immigrates to Canada from Ukraine. I found it especially interesting and suspenseful. There are many breathtaking and sad things that happen throughout this touching story. Some things that happen are: Her grandmother dies, her father and brother are taken to prison and many other things. This book is very historically correct and I think that any book is good if it contains some sort of true story in it. I think that many other people should read this book. It tells about life that was hard and sorrowful.
Lesia is a real hero. She takes her families troubles unto her shoulders and tries to solve them. She stands up to whomever is not on her side. She also takes on the struggling task of learning to speak, read and write english. When she has to help her mother give birth to her brother and then watch him and her mother almost starve to death it brings you to tears. When she rescues a fellow Ukrainian girl from the river and sells eggs and butter to raise money for her family it brings a smile. Lesia makes you gasp when she sells the most precious things that belong to her. This book is riveting as well as sweet. I think that anyone with an interest in history and adventure should read this book.

Lesia's Dream was very good, but also extremely depressing.
It's certainly not my favourite book, but still educational.
And yes, Twilight is better, but it's a completely different type of book!
I randomly recommend My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult and Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer to everyone who reads this!!!!
