Hi im going to review the c.d. american idiot by greenday. this is totally an awesome c.d. the lyrics in every song give such message. the best song on this c.d. is jeus of suburbia it is such a good song it like gives me goosebumps how good it is. this is probably one of the best c.d.'s made in awhile. im a huge greenday fan and i love this so much.

greenday is a band with absolutly no talent. they sing about how bad their life is [just like every other emo band out there] when in reality they have it good and always have. kids should listen to real music. To say that American Idiot is the best CD made in a while is like saying that you would prefer to sleep in a pile of needles rather than a comfortable bed. It doesnt make sense. So many other bands have put out better albums than greenday. And another thing guys dont wear eyeliner.

Okay....greenday is freakin AWESOME!! What can I say besides I HEART GREENDAY!! Yea man. I know Boulovard of Broken Dreams by heart. Best song EVER!! Green Day's older work was... less FAKE than this. All the little 10 year old fangirls are like yeah rock on Green Day is soo hardcore metal!!! I love Billie-Joe! WHO CARES! We don't care if the "beat is awesome"! Please, appreciate bands for their music, not looks. Also, bands put just as much effort into the lyrics as the music/beat parts of a record.

Green Day are the best modern punk band out there. They had a hard life and grew up as Berkley punks, paid their dues, and are putting out great music. These guys are hilarious, talented, and have wonderful persoanlities, and a great cause.
If you don't like REAL punk rock music-- that's fine, but don't go saying that they aren't punk; that they're "emo", etc.. They are as punk as you can get in this day and age.
And wearing eyeliner means nothing-- David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Bryan Ferry, and all their music idols in punk and glam-- ALL WORE MAKEUP. Some even went further than just eyeliner. Some wore dresses. So get off Green Day's case if you don't want to listen to good music.

Also; Green Day's BIGGEST album was NOT American Idiot. It was Dookie. And for those who don't realize it-- four year olds were into Green Day (I was one of them). Very young kids started getting into them then. You you have no right to complain that "10 year olds are drooling over them" now, because it's happened before-- it's just those same 10 year olds from 1994 are now quite a bit older. GET OVER IT.
Green Day is pure.

GREEN DAY IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST PUNK-ROCK BAND OUT THERE OR STILL OUT THERE TODAY. THERE SONG "SAINT JIMMY" IS ONE OF THEY BEST, BUT "BOLIVARD OF BROKEN DREAMS" IS THE BEST SONG EVER. THERE NEW CD 21ST CENTERY BREAKDOWN WILL BE JUST AS GOOD AS DOOKIE.
