I believe that the Dixie Chicks are an amazing band, and actually do tell the meaning of their songs. The Dixie Chicks speak their mind and I love it. Can't wait for there next hit single! woot:)

Okay, honestly, I am still looking into the issue with the Dixie Chicks, and the comment that Natalie Maines made toward Bush.. but only becuase I am very interested in it. I have always been a fan of the Dixie Chicks and Country Music. But I still don't understand the entire conflict with Toby Keith. Something I do believe though, of what I have heard so far, is that Yes, obviously everyone has freedom of speech. The Chicks had a right to speak their mind, but I'm not sure if they should have done it randomly on stage like they did. I doubt they meant to cause a big scene, or at least as big as it really has become. But they had their opinoin and they spoke, and what is really stupid are the hipocrites, all these people that are condriticting them on speaking their minds and expressing how they feel about our president, are saying that they did wrong, and the Chicks are being punished for it. People arent buying their CDs, Country Music Stations are embarrased by them so they arent playing their music anymore, people are protesting against them, and they are basically getting "BOOed off the stage"..

well I don't think it is right. Which is MY opinon. I think it is dumb that this is such a conflict, and i miss the Country Hits from the Chicks. lol. I want it back, but Natalie and the rest of them are REFUSING to go back, and i cant say that i blame them, not after the way they were treated.. and as far as the Toby Keith thing, what was with that I still dont understand it. ?? But i want to know. Any answers????
