My movie review is on Mulan. Mulan is a timeless classic that can be shared and loved and watched over and over and over again by families all over the world. I love the movie so much because it is original and just everything about it is breathtaking. The whole movie is very empowering and gives me a sense of happiness. It is a really good movie because the things they do in the movie I’ve never seen done - it is very original. For example near the end of the movie they had to get up a palace so they used simple scarves and shimmied their way up. Also when Mulan is battling the hun leader on the roof the hun has a sword and all Mulan has is a fan!

This movie is great because it shows that not only men can have courage but woman can too. Even though no one paid any attention to her and didn’t take her seriously Mulan gave up her life and her home to protect her family.

I was also very impressed with the songs that are in the movie. They are very deep and beautiful songs and really put you in Mulan’s shoes so you get the real feel of the movie. The costumes that they are wearing are beautiful and the scenery and backgrounds are very well thought out. Mulan followed her heart and earned the respect she deserved. That is why I love Mulan.
