Scott Cook, Axis of Conversation, Ben Sures, Rebecca Lappa

You may be settling back into your fall routine of work or school, but many musicians are getting ready to hit the road in support of their recent releases.

This week, you'll hear new music from Scott Cook, who's heading off on a very ambitious tour across Canada, the US and over to the UK with his new album, One More Time Around.

Rebecca Lappa's latest release Avant Garden is full of stories. While Ben Sures reveals his longtime fascination with the blues, on his new album Son of Trouble.

Ann Vriend is almost always on the road, but she's back in Alberta this week, playing shows at Mount Engadine Lodge and Mikey's Juke Joint. Leeroy Stagger is just wrapping up his Truth Be Sold tour with shows next week in Lethbridge, Camrose and Calgary.

Calgary's Axis of Conversation is gearing up for the release of their new full-length, The House of Stay Together, Friday Sept 13 at the Palomino.

Plus, you'll hear songs from Tanner James' new concept album about the girls who got away, How to Ruin Your Life With Women. He'll be releasing it on Friday Sept 13 at the National Music Centre in Calgary.
