100 mile house -- Live in Canmore!

This week, we're headed to Communitea Cafe in Canmore for a very special live show recorded especially for the Key of A.

The band is called 100 mile house. They sing beautiful songs of travel, family and home.

Part of that inspiration comes from the fact that the two singers in the band grew up on different continents. Denise Mackay is from Edmonton. Peter Stone is from London, England. That's where they met, fell in love, started making music together, and got married.

Now they're back in Canada living in Denise's home town of Edmonton. A couple of years ago, they formed a band with Scott  Zubot -- you'll hear him on violin and mandolin. They're joined on this tour by Tom Murray on bass and Ty Armstrong on drums.

It's a delicate acoustic mix that puts the lyrics and melody front and centre. Enjoy!
