Edmonton music: rich, diverse and deep

This week, the Key of A celebrates the diversity, richness and depth of Edmonton's music community, in honor of the first ever Edmonton Music Awards, which will be handed out this Sunday and Monday at the Haven Social Club. We'll hear several of the top nominees, including "artist to watch" nominees Erica Viegas, Red Shag Carpet and Lisa Nicole Grace; country nominees Al Brant and the band Hey Romeo; and sextuple nominee (he's got 6 nominations, including best single and best album) Jeff Morris.

Plus, the Haven is also the venue Leeroy Stagger chose to celebrate the release of his 6th album, Little Victories, and we'll hear the live show he played there with his band at the end of January, just before heading out on a 2-month U.S. tour.
