Lucky Seven!

This week's Key of A is PACKED full of new music! We'll be featuring 7 new releases and a very wide and deep mix of artists and styles from around the province:
Rock and pop from Mike Edel, originally from Linden, Alberta on his full-length debut The Last of Our Mountains; darkly beautiful sounds from Tanyss Nixi on her new album Sell Your Clothes and Keep Your Thoughts; Jay Crocker brings an experimental mix of hard-edged distortion, old-school pop songwriting and intimate, sweet vocals on his new release Jay Crocker/All-Stars.  Crocker also lends his production talents to the debut album by Reuben Bullock, Pulling Up Arrows.
Fiddler rebel Ben Plotnick whips up his own indie brew of Celtic/Old Tyme fiddle, bluegrass, jazz and rock on his release Dancing at the End of the World; we'll hear a track from a very young artist with big ambitions (and a 2 month x-Canada tour that starts tonight) named Lauren Mann (her band is called Lauren Mann and the Fairly Odd Folk).

And, veteran Bill Bourne breaks new ground by teaming up with his son Pat Bourne on lead electric guitar, in his new release, Free Radio Dance Band!
