Rae Spoon's My Prairie Home, Wool on Wolves in conversation

This week on the show, you'll meet Thomas Reikie, lead singer of the band Wool on Wolves. He'll join Katherine to tell some of the stories behind the band's songs.

You'll also hear about a brand new festival in Edmonton, Up+Downtown Music and Arts Festival, starting up next month.

Wool on Wolves will be playing at that festival, as will Rae Spoon. Originally from Calgary, Rae Spoon has a new album, My Prairie Home, and a new autobiographical film coming out. You'll hear some of Rae's original soundtrack for the film.

Plus, we'll celebrate the transition from summer to autumn, with music by Locomotive Ghost, d'Cana, and Dale Ladouceur.

And you'll hear a new voice from Calgary who goes by the name Hello Moth!
