Lucas Chaisson, Alex Vissia, Rob Heath and more

This week on the Key of A, you'll hear musicians at very different stages in their careers.
Cochrane's Lucas Chaisson is just 19 but well on his way; you'll hear a lovely solo set he played in March at the Ironwood Stage in Calgary.

Another young artist, Alex Vissia from Stoney Plain/Edmonton, is getting ready to release her new EP Young Love, with a show Friday May 24, and we'll give you a preview.

Veteran Edmonton songwriter Rob Heath unveils his 5th full-length album, The Trick; while Wilfred N and the Grown Men's new release is a father and son collaboration. Wilfred's son Nik Kozub (of the band Shout Out Out Out Out) engineered and co-produced the album, I'm in love with the city. But as Wilfred puts it, "I'm the dad, so I'm still the boss."

Plus, here's a lovely new video to keep the spirit of Mother's Day going a little longer, from High River's Karla Adolphe.
