Boreal Sons, Live at the Lantern in Calgary

This week on the show we bring you a rare Key of A live recording. We caught Boreal Sons performing at The Lantern (Community Church) in Calgary earlier this month. (They played a lovely opening set for a 4-band show that closed with Reuben and the Dark, who we also recorded for future broadcast -- stay tuned for news on when that will air.)

 

Also on the show, a new, original song, Long Love this Land, created for an Alberta agriculture promo video from ATB, featuring music by Mike Shields with Russell Broom and vocals by Curtis Glas and Amy Thiessen.

 

We'll preview the new album from Wil, (aka William Mimnaugh) Hold Me On, set for release next week. Watch for Wil on tour in Alberta later this month and into December.
