New music from Maria Dunn, Karla Adolphe and Animal Parts

This week on the show, you'll hear Karla Adolphe's songs in the key of grief. Her new album, Honeycomb Tombs, while inspired by grief and loss, rises above it, offering comfort.

Maria Dunn joins Katherine in studio to talk about her new concept album, Piece by Piece, inspired by stories of immigrant women who came to Alberta for a better life, and found work, friendship and community at the GWG clothing factory in Edmonton.

Plus -- Calgary native Joshua Cockerill now fronts a Toronto-based band called Animal Parts. They're touring Alberta this month, with shows in Waterton, Twin Butte, Coleman, Edmonton, Calgary and Red Deer.
